Grenade thrown at Rangers misfires

KARACHI: Unknown perpetrators Monday hurled a hand grenade at Rangers personnel during snap checking, which turned out to be a dud, Geo News reported.

The culprits have been arrested for further investigation.

Initial reports say, the attackers were stopped by the paramilitary troops for frisking, who upon this pulled out a hand grenade tried to flee after tossing it at the security men, which fortunately failed to explode.
