Girl kidnapped, gold, cash stolen

MULTAN: A teenaged girl was allegedly kidnapped by her relatives who also stole some gold ornaments and cash from the house of a woman in Katchi Abidi, Nawanwali in city outskirts.

Police sources said on Tuesday that Sharifan Bibi, r/o Katchi Abidi, Nawawali lodged a complaint that in her absence, her relatives, who had come from Islamabad, kidnapped her 15-year old daughter, Parveen and took her to some unknown place.

The woman has appealed to top police authorities to recover her underage daughter.

She stated that the accused persons sold her daughter to a resident of Jhang city for Rs. 200,000. The woman added that the accused removed three tola gold jewelry and Rs. 40000 cash from her house. (APP)
