ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that it was shameful how the government was inflicting severe load-shedding on people in Ramazan, including during Sehr and Iftar timings.

The PTI chairman said that the Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) government did not care about the people's pain and suffering.

He said that depriving people of electricity during Ramazan and the sweltering summer heat was a brutal act on the part of the government.

Khan accused the federal government of protecting and facilitating electricity thieves instead of acting against them.

He called on the PML-N led government to change its approach and to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity.
