PA adopts resolution to form Drug Regulatory Authority

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly (PA) has adopted a resolution unanimously to form Drug Regulatory Authority (DRA), Geo News reported Wednesday. The session was adjourned for indefinite period after it was marred by chaos.

The resolution was passed following the Article 144 of the Constitution. Members of the assembly were exchanging greetings after the resolution was successfully passed when opposition leader Raja Riaz started criticizing Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

He said that the CM Punjab does not show up in the assembly sessions which depicts his bad governance and that he is not running the government affairs properly.

Law Minister Rana Sanaullah mocked his criticism on which Riaz protested. And consequently, the session was adjourned for indefinite period.
