LAHORE: CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that Balochs and Pahtuns should be engaged in talks as well as apologized for the oppression they were subjected to for decades, Geo News reported.

Talking to a conference here, he said that all the rational demands of the people of Balochistan should be met.

“ Balochistan’s long-standing issues needed resolution, it’s time we struck lasting solutions”, said Shahbaz.

CM also said Punjab being the ‘Big Brother’ sacrificed its Rs12 billion for Balochistan, adding it would even take more such hits for its younger brother if it had to.

Condemning the diktats that were part and parcel of foreign aid, he said outsiders against a few pennies blackjack Pakistan to do more, which was nothing but a form of slavery.

It had been nine months since Punjab broke the begging bowl and survived nevertheless, said a proud Shahbaz.
