Cricket: Dhaka restrict Rajshahi to 144-9

DHAKA: Dhaka Gladiators restricted Duronto Rajshahi to 144 runs for nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs in the day-night Twenty20 match in the Bangladesh Premier League here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Thursday.

Put into bat by Dhaka Gladiators, Duronto Rajshahi openers Shahzaib Hasan (23) and Junaid Siddique (25) made 45 runs but latter batsmen could not take any advantage of this good start.

However, Marlon Samuels played a responsible innings to top scored with 36.

For the Gladiators, Elias Sunny and Nazmul Hossain took two wickets each.
