HYDERABAD: The Governor Sindh, who is also the Chancellor of the public universities of the province, has approved the request of the Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Prof Dr. Nazir A. Mughal for grant of 300 acres land in connection with allotment of residential plots to the faculty members and employees of the university.

The university spokesman informed here on Friday that the Governor Sindh asked the Senior Member Board of Revenue Sindh for allocation of 300 acres land for employees housing society of the University of Sindh.

The Governor Sindh also asked the Senior Member Board of Revenue for allocation of land for the employees housing societies of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences(LUMHS), Mehran University of Engineering Technology(MUET) Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology Nawabshah, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana, NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Lyari Karachi and IBA Sukkur, the university spokesman informed.
