Spurious drugs: Commission visits Efroze pharma

KARACHI: The commission, formed to investigate death of cardiac patients who died after taking spurious drugs, visited Efroz pharmaceutical company, Geo News reported.

The commission visited Efroz pharma, manufacturer of Isotab pills, in Korangi.

According to sources, the commission will record statements of some company employees and investigate who was responsible to make changes in actual formula of the medicine.

The change in formula of the pills claimed several lives of cardiac patients at Punjab.
