Imam Masjid killed in road mishap

FAISALABAD: An Imam Masjid was killed in a road mishap in the area of Thikriwala police station.

According to the police, Qari Maqbool Ahmad, resident of Thikriwala and Imam of a local mosque, was going on a motorcycle when a speedy van hit the two-wheeler severely at Jhang Road near Chak No.75-JB.

As a result, Qari Maqbool received serious head injuries and died on the spot while the van driver managed to flee away from the scene.

The police handed over the dead body to his relatives for burial after completing necessary formalities. (APP)
