Girl among two dead in landmine blasts

QUETTA: A young shepherd and a girl died while a woman sustained serious injuries in two separate incidents of landmine blasts in Kohlu and Dera Bugti districts of the province, official sources said Monday.

The first incident took place at Grisini locality of district Kohlu in which a young shepherd stepped over an anti personal landmine planted by unknown miscreants. As a result, he died on the spot.

The second mishap took place near Sui, headquarters of district Dera Bugti in which a young girl who was cutting grass died while her mother sustained serious injuries.

The injured woman was admitted to the local hospital. (APP)
