DUBAI: England captain Stuart Broad won the toss and elected to field against Pakistan in the first of three Twenty20 internationals here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Pakistan made three changes from the line-up wich lost the fourth one-day here on Tuesday, bringing in opener Awaiz Zia, paceman Umar Gul and allrounder Hammad Azam. They replaced Azhar Ali, Abdul Rehman and Adnan Akmal.

England, who won the four-match one-day series 4-0, brought in Jonny Bairstow and Ravi Bopara in place of Alastair Cook and Tim Bresnan.

Pakistan: Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Asad Shafiq, Awais Zia, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan, Hammad Azam, Shoaib Malik.

England: Stuart Broad (captain), Jonny Bairstow, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler, Jade Dernbach, Steven Finn, Craig Kieswetter, Eoin Morgan, Samit Patel, Kevin Pietersen, Graeme Swann.
