President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly survived three assassination attempts ever since Russia waged a war by invading Ukraine last week.

Oleksiy Danilov — the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council — said that they “destroyed” the assassination attempts, according toNDTV.

The groups sent for the assassination were killed on February 26 on the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine's capital.

Danilov claimed that he was alerted by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) officers “who today do not want to take part in this bloody war”.

The anti-war elements from FSB released information about the attempts. There were two groups sent to assassinate Zelensky. One was the Wagner group and the other were Chechen rebels.

Zelensky was offered to fly out of Ukraine when Russia began its invasions, but he turned it down. For this act he was praised by many people.

President of France Emmanuel Macron called him the "the face of honour, freedom and courage."
