Volodymyr Zelensky dubbed politicians as 'mathematicians' in 'Mr Bean-like' comedy

Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine, is garnering respect around the world with valor while his country suffers Russian attacks.

Looking at his high spirits and will power, admirers are comparing the actor/comedian turned politician's new role as wartime leader similar to his character in seriesServant of the People.

Then an actor, Zelensky essayed the role of a history teacher, who is given a chance to become the president of Ukraine. While many dubbed his comic timing similar to Mr Beans', the 44-year-old stirred important discussions with his screen presence.

"Our presidents come to power and make the same mistakes," he raged in one of the scenes.

"'They come to power and steal and steal and steal - and nobody gives a s***. If I could get in there, I'd show them!" he added,

"Politicians are mathematicians – the only thing they understand is how to divide, add and multiply their fortunes”.

As episodes of the show are now resurfacing, the father-of-two has been branded as a hero.

"Volodymyr impresses with his impeccable comic timing in the show in which he's just as calamitous as Rowan Atkinson's Mr Bean," reports Mirror.co.uk.

The series was made by Kvartal 95 - the President's own production company with wife Olena being one of the script writers.
