Queen, Prince Charles, Kate Middleton, Prince William mark Commonwealth Day

British Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family marked the Commonwealth Day today, March 14.

According to the Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth and the entire royal family are celebrating the Commonwealth Day.

It tweeted, “Today on #CommonwealthDay, we are celebrating more than 70 years of the Commonwealth family of nations and how they are working together to achieve their shared goals.”

In 1952 when the Queen acceded to the throne, she also became Head of the Commonwealth – a family of nations, spanning every geographical region, religion and culture.

Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton also shared their messages on the Commonwealth Day.

Prince Charles and Camilla tweeted, “On #CommonwealthDay, we celebrate the rich diversity of the 54 countries across the world and the 2.6 billion people who are part of the Commonwealth family.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said, “2.5 billion citizens, 54 member countries, Wishing a very happy #CommonwealthDay to you all.”
