ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration has finalized all the arrangements to administer polio drops to 102,000 children in rural area and 125,000 children in urban area of the Federal Capital during a four-day anti-polio drive starting from March 12.

Deputy Commissioner, Islamabad Amer Ali Ahmed while presiding over a meeting in this regard here on Wednesday, appealed to the parents to get their children vaccinated against the polio and extend their full co-operation to the mobile teams during the up campaign.

The meeting reviewed and finalized the comprehensive arrangements made for administering anti-polio drops to 1,02,000 children in the 12 union councils of Islamabad and 1,25,000 children in the urban areas of Islamabad during the up-coming drive.

The representatives of World Health Organization, officials of CADD, Capital Development Authority, DHO, Islamabad, Dr. Azhar, Islamabad Traffic Police, Assistant Commissioners and Magistrates attended the meeting.
