Kate Middleton - who is on eight-day 2022 royal tour of Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas with Prince William - made an emotional speech on Wednesday.

Prince William's sweetheart Kate was spotted delivering a speech at Shortwood Teacher College, hailing the “crucial” role of teachers “at the front line ”in shaping the early years.

She continued: “We are on the cusp of one of the biggest opportunities for positive change in generations.”

In an emotional address, the Duchess revealed that since their arrival in Jamaica, she had "been touched by the warmth this island has shown us."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have embarked on the second leg of their Caribbean tour, are fully enjoying the trip. The royal couple also played football kickabout with England star Sterling there.
