LAHORE: The City District Government (CDG) Lahore has taken all necessary steps for eradication of dengue and town administrations have been directed for the implementation of dengue regulations.

According to CDGL spokesman, notices are being issued to tyre shops and sprays are being done in tyre godowns in this regard.

DCO Lahore Ahad khan Cheema during a meeting held here Thursday had also given the directions for strict action against concerned town officer if tyres will be found opened in his respective areas.

Indoor & outdoor activities are being conducted and data control room has established in town hall, where the complete record of the anti dengue activities are being updated, he added.

He said that no confirmed dengue case was reported in Lahore so far and city government is fully equipped and alert.
