Is Instagram allowing replying to stories with voice notes?

Instagram is reportedly developing a feature where users will be able to reply to stories with images and voice messages, said Gadgets360.

Currently, a story on Instagram can only be replied with text, a GIF, or the eight available reactions. Recently, a story-liking feature was also added which notifies the user instead of sliding into their direct messages (DMs).

The feature was spotted by a famous app developer Alessandro Paluzzi. He noticed an image icon and a microphone icon.

The developer then took a screenshot and posted it on his Twitter feed. It is not clear whether the feature was available on Android or iOS.

Instagram is yet to disclose details regarding any such developments.
