A man in Tamil Nadu purchased his dream bike for INR260,000 by paying the whole amount in one-rupee coins, the Times of India reported.

The showroom took a total of 10 hours to count the entire money which V Boopathi brought there in a van.

The coins were offloaded using wheelbarrows.

Boopathi, 29, saved for over three years to collect the required money to buy Bajaj Dominar 400. He saved this money at temples, hotels, and tea stalls.

Reportedly, the showroom manager was initially hesitant to accept the money but then did so to avoid disappointing Boopathi. "I finally accepted, considering Boopathi's dream of buying a high-end bike," he said.
