Food Dept directed to finalize wheat procurement arrangements

FAISALABAD: Commissioner Syed Tahir Husain has directed the department concerned to finalize wheat procurement arrangements well before time.

Chairing a meeting here on Saturday, he said that Punjab government was paying attention to protect the rights of wheat growers. Hence, all necessary arrangements including preparation of documents etc. should be completed on top priority basis so that the wheat procurement drive could be kicked off in-time.

He also reviewed the arrangements for the distribution of free laptop and directed the education department to ensure laptop distribution fair and transparent manner. (APP)
