Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp has rolled out advanced privacy settings, finally allowing its users to hide their profile information from certain contacts.

With the version upgrade to 2.21.23.14 on WhatsApp beta for Android, users will be able to choose between contacts, who can see their profile photo, last seen and about.

The company had released the update four months ago, but it was available to very few people.

Here is how the updated feature will look:

If you exclude any contact from seeing your last seen, you will not be able to see their last seen. However, this rule doesn't apply to the profile photo and about section.

If this feature is rolling out today, it must be received by users in the next few hours.
