A woman in the United States donates her blood plasma to be able to afford her monthly visits to Disney World, reported NDTV.
Liz Gramlich is based in Philadelphia and is obsessed with Walt Disney World in Orlando. She visits the place once every month with her sister.
The 28-year-old said that her visits were planned according to the ticket prices. She books the flights when they are at their cheapest.
She believes the tours strengthen her bond with her sister, so she donates her plasma twice a week arguing that “she is helping someone”.
Gramlich realised in 2020 that the flight to Orlando from Philadelphia takes two hours, which makes one-day-only visits possible. Her cause was aided by low flight prices during COVID-19.
After COVID-19, however, prices came back to normal, making it difficult for her to frequently visit Disney World. This led Gramlich to begin donating her plasma.
