TUF holds dengue seminar

FAISALABAD: The University of Faisalabad (TUF) has organized a seminar on "Dengue a Disease or Social Problem" here on Monday.

Prof Dr Abdul Karim Baloach, Pro-Rector of the University, presided over the seminar.

Prof Dr Zahid Masood, Head department of Community & Preventive Medicine, University Medical & Dental College Faisalabad, in his keynote lecture, explained that Dengue seems to be more or less a social problem than a disease.

The virus can be controlled by proper environmental management, and personal protection measures, he added. (APP)
