CDGH plans mass polio vaccination awareness drive

HYDERABAD: The district administration Hyderabad has decided to carry out two days long mass awareness campaign for polio eradication drive from March 10, 2012.

According to an announcement, walk by people from different segments of life, festival and musical concerts will be the part of mass awareness programme of the district administration.

The decisions to this effect were made at a meeting presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Asif Ali Memon here on Monday.

According to the programme on March 10, 2012 , walk with the people from different segments of life will be arranged from Hyderabad Gymkhana to Hyderabad Press Club while on March 11, a festival will be organized at Rani Bagh in the morning and in the evening, musical concert will be held with participation of eminent artists.

In this connection, the Deputy Commissioner formed an organizing committee. (APP)
