Woman drug pusher arrested; 5kg hashish, weapons seized

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Tuesday arrested nine outlaws including a woman drug pusher and recovered a total of five kilogram hashish, one carbine, two pistols and stolen items from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, a police team headed by Station House Officer of Golra police station nabbed Johar Zaman and Shaukat Perveen during special checking for having five kilogram hashish.

Two other accused Iftikhar and Farman Elahi were also arrested against possession of 12 bore carbine and one dagger respectively.

Meanwhile, Tarnol police station nabbed an accused Aamir for possessing 30 bore pistol while Sabzi Manid police arrested Adnan Ali for having 30 bore pistol.

Shehzad town police station arrested three thieves identified as Asif Ahmed, Khuram Zaman, Zeeshan and recovered stolen items worth Rs.100,000 from their possession.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them. (APP)
