ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a stolen car, three pistols and ornaments from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Assistant Sub-Inspector Shakeel Ahmed from Anti-Car Lifting Cell recovered a car (LWL-8824) from an accused Baghdad which was found stolen from Iqbal town police station Lahore.

ASI Muhammad Riaz from CIA police arrested a thief Ejaz Ahmed and recovered stolen gold ornaments from his possession. ASI Muhammad Hanif from Shehzad town police arrested two dacoits Amjad Ali, Zaheer Ahmed and recovered 30 bore pistol and snatched cash from their possession.

ASI Muhammad Tariq from Sihala police arrested an accused Bilal Ahmed and recovered 12 bore repeater gun from his possession while ASI Muhammad Niaz from Shehzad town police nabbed Jehangir in possession of 30 bore pistol.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. (APP)
