Karachi: Cop, robber killed in shootout

KARACHI: An encounter on Burns Road, Karachi’s food-street, left a policeman and a robber dead, Geo News reported.

According to details, cops dropped right into the middle of a holdup underway in a bakery, upon which panicked robbers opened fire at the law-enforcers giving rise to an encounter.

Police outgunned the robbers killing one and forcing the other to flee but at the cost of one of their constables, who after getting wounded died on the way to hospital.
