The Queen predicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the Firm which left her "conflicted"

Royal expert Brown, in her book The Palace Papers, describes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the Firm as "a necessary end executed with maximum chaos."

Ms Brown, former editor of several magazines, claimed everybody was supportive of them leaving, but they wanted it done in an orderly fashion to set a "precedent" for potential future departures.

The Queen predicted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the Firm which left her "conflicted", according to the royal biographer.

She claims that The Queen could "see how unhappy Harry and Meghan were" but felt "genuinely very conflicted" about the Duke and his wife's decision to depart from the family.

The Palace Papers - a landmark new royal biography by Ms Brown - claims that the family saw the split coming a few months earlier.

Brown claims that Harry made the decision to quit, but the move was made "with acceleration from Meghan."

In January 2020, Markle and Prince Harry announced they were stepping down as senior members of the royal family, with a plan to review their position a year later. Now it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are happy and Proud of their decision to leave royal life behind.
