Rickshaw drivers protest by climbing electricity towers

LAHORE: Rickshaw drivers protested against the heavy fines given out by the traffic police by climbing electricity towers.

Initial only one rickshaw driver climbed the electricity tower in protest to the heavy fines, but later several others also followed suit.

When the police reached the site, associates of the rickshaw drivers also joined in the protest and beat policemen.

Several people were injured during the clashes.
