ISLAMABAD: The Capital police on Friday arrested 16 outlaws for their alleged involvement in drug pushing and possessing illegal weapons, a police spokesman said.
A Tarnol police team arrested two drug pushers identified as Aziz ur Rheman and Ali and recovered 2.076 kilogram hashish from them, while Golra police apprehended Mubarak Khan and Ejaz for having 240 gram hashish and 20 gram heroin respectively. On a tip off, a bootlegger Nasir Mashih was arrested by the police with 20 bottles of wine.
The Industrial Area police nabbed a person identified as Uzair and recovered 30 bore pistol as well as six rounds from him while the CIA police held Nawaz Ahmed for possessing a 30 bore pistol.
Meanwhile, Aabpara police impounded two cars (MG-774, RIA-1029) and arrested ten car occupants for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. The nabbed persons were identified as Islam, Aftab, Naseem Bibi, Ayesha, Naila, Rehana, Shahida Bibi, Shehnaz, Guriya and Fazeelat Bibi.
