Nine couples tie knots in mass-wedding

FAISALABAD: Nine poor and deserving couples have tied the knots of their Nikah during a mass wedding ceremony arranged by an NGO, Selani Welfare Foundation here on Wednesday.

According to a spokesman of the foundation, local philanthropists have gifted dowry and other necessary items to each couple while about 1000 guests attended the function, which was held at a local hotel where they were also feasted with meal. (APP)
