Rain forecast for KPK

PESHAWAR: The Met office on Sunday forecasted rain with dust-thunderstorms at isolated places of Upper Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

According to Met office spokesman, a fresh westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to persist for next 24 to 48 hours.

He said rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of upper KPK, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in next 24 hours.

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 48 hours. However, rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of upper KPK, upper Punjab , Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Weather remained dry in most parts of the country , however rain/dust-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places of Upper KPK, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir in last 24 hours.

About rainfall in last 24 hours, he said six millimeter rain has been reported in Dir, Malam Jabba & Bannu 04(each), Mirkhani, Kalam & Drosh 03(each), Chirat, Lower Dir & Saidusharif 02(each) mm. (APP)
