KARACHI: The Karachi Transporters Ittehad has announced that they will go on strike from April 10 if the price of CNG is not decreased and they are not compensated for their burnt buses.

According to the President of the Ittehad, Irshad Bukhari the strike will continue for an indefinite period of time.

A three day ultimatum was given by transporters from across the country to the government to decrease POL prices otherwise they would hold countrywide protests.

On April 1, the government raised the price of petroleum products and CNG. The price of petrol, diesel and Kerosene oil are now above the Rs100 per litre mark.
