ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 100 cans of beer, 20 wine bottles, 2.450 kilogram hashish and five pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, an Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Munir from Aabpara police arrested a bootlegger red handed identified as Salim and recovered 15 wine bottles from him. ASI Saif Ullah from Kohsar police arrested Fiaz Masih for having 100 cans of beer while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique from Margallah police apprehdned Zubair and Raja Nisar in possession of five wine bottles.
Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shehbaz from Ramna police arrested Kashif for having 200 gram hashish while ASI Inam Ullah from Golra police arrested Faheem Ahmed in possession of 30 bore pistol.
Sub-Insepctor Muhammad Idress from Tarnol police station nabbed a drug pusher identified as Nur Jehan and recovered 2.250 gram hashish from him. ASIs Allah Dad and Ali Asghar arrested two persons Yousuf and Zahid Ali for having 30 bore pistol each.
ASI Umer Hyat from Niolre police nabbed Haroon Ghafoor for possessing 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspecor Munir Ahmed from Sihala police arrested Sajad Anwar in possession of 30 bore pistol.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi police Islamabad has busted two gangs of dacoits who in guise of transporters used to ply vehicle on various routes illegally and loot the passengers at gun point. Following the complaints from various passengers for being deprived from their money and other valuables during travel in van, a special police team under the supervision of DSP Asharaf Shah and SHO Sabzi Mandi police station Insepctor Abid Ikram was constituted to trace the perpetrators of this crime.
This team succeeded to bust two gangs who used to loot the passengers at gun point. The criminals of first gang were identified as Sardar Ali, Khaista Khan, Sajid, Gohar Ali, Tilawat Shah and Fiaz while other gangsters were identified as Kareem Ullah, Daud Shah, Niaz Ali, Nur Ali and Rehman Gul.
During the preliminary investigation, these nabbed persons have confessed to commit several such crime incidents and police also recovered weapons, few looted items and a vehicle from them. (PPI)
