LARKANA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana has postponed matriculation exam scheduled for Wednesday April 11 in view of strike call given by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Movement.
The Chairman of Board announced that postponed (chemistry) paper would now be held on April 18. The examinations of Class IX-X are underway in Larkana, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and Kashmore districts falling under the Larkana Board.
The Hyderabad Educate Board has also postponed the papers scheduled on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the JSQM activists staged demonstrations on Tuesday in Larkana. They marched through different roads and staged sit-in at Royal Chowk.
The JSQM is demanding laboratory tests from Aga Khan hospital Karachi instead of Civil Hospital to ascertain the cause of death of JSQM chairman Bashir Qureshi.
