Young doctors observe strike

FAISALABAD: Young doctors of Allied Hospital and District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital have observed strike here on Monday on the call of Young Doctors Association (YDA) against the transfer of 45 postgraduate trainee doctors and Medical Officers (MOs) of Services Hospital by the Provincial Health Department.

The young doctors boycotted the attendance of patients at Outdoor Patients Departments (OPDs) of these hospitals due to which the visiting patients especially coming from farflung areas had to face great deal of difficulties.

They vowed to continue their strike till the withdrawal of the transfer
orders. (APP)
