Mother of nine killed in road accident

FAISALABAD: A woman was killed while her husband received injuries in a road accident near bus-stand chowk Dijkot.

According to police, Muneer Ahmed (40), resident of mohalla Abrarpura, Rajahana road Samandri and his wife Razia Bibi were traveling to Faisalabad from Samundri on a motorbike (FDW-5723) when a speeding van hit their two-wheeler.

Razia, mother of nine children, died on the spot while her husband was shifted to civil hospital Dijkot.

The van driver fled in his vehicle and later concerned police registered case against him. (APP)
