Private school roof collapse injures 18 students

HYDERABAD: At least 18 students were seriously injured when the roof of a private school in Kotri area of Jamshoro district collapsed on Tuesday.

According to doctors at Kotri taluka hospital, the condition of one of the injured children, Javed Khoso is serious.

Sindh Education Department while taking strict notice of the incident has directed Director Private Schools Shahida Parveen Abro to investigate the incident.

Ms Abro later visited the school and met with the injured students and their parents.

A case has been registered in Kotri police station against the Principal and Vice-Principal of the private school, located in Nango Line. (APP)
