ISLAMABAD: Islamabad District Court Bar Association President, Syed Javed Akbar Mashhidi Tuesday put off the strike call as compromise effected between Advocate Raja Haroon Qadeer and the accused persons last night.
The President on Monday (April 23), gave the strike call and urged the lawyers not to attend any court of law on the day in protest of a murder attempt, harassment and land grabbing of above mentioned colleague.
But when he was informed by the petitioner to have a mutual understanding over the issue, he put off the strike call on immediate basis with the association of other members of bar and postponed the march towards Supreme Court to register their demonstration to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudry.
He claimed while talking to other members of bar that he would keep on providing his helping hands to every colleague required into any matter at any stage of life.
The petitioner also stopped the SHO Bhara Kahu to lodge any FIR against the accused persons.
The brother of the petitioner was of the view that the petitioner was assured to compensate with competitive rates prevailing into the real estate market by the accused persons and the petitioner was happy with the deal.
