SNGPL fines Rs 450 mln on gas pilferage

FAISALABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has fined Rs 450 million to two textile mills of Faisalabad on gas pilferage.

According to a spokesman of the SNGPL, Rs.250 million fine was imposed on Kausar Textile Mill while Al-Mumtaz Textile Mill was directed to pay a fine of Rs.200 million out of which the owner of Al-Mumtaz Textile Mill deposited a fine of Rs.8.2 million so far.

Separate cases were also registered against the administrations of both mills.
