ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Friday arrested ten persons from various areas of the city and recovered a stolen car, three mobile phones, wine, narcotics, three pistols and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.

A special team of Aabpara police station headed by SHO Inspector Khalid Mehmud Awan arrested three dacoits identified as Habib Shah s/o Laiq Shah, Mushtaq Ahmed s/o Ghulam Muhammad resident of Charsada and Faqeer Ahmed s/o Daud resident of Abbottabad. On a tip off, Sub-Inspector Khalid Mehmud nabbed Imran Shabbir for possessing 110 gram heroin.

Bhara Kau police arrested two thieves including Asif and Yasir while Sub-Inspector Muhamamd Usman apprehended Nasir Masih for having a wine bottle.

Shalimar police station recovered a car (LOA-4220) which was found stolen from Civil Line police station, Lahore.

Sub-Inspector Nusrat Ali from Golra police arrested Naeem Farooq for possessing 30 bore pistol while ASI Arshad Mehmud recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Arif Shoaib.

Loi Bher police arrested Imran Iqbal for posssing 30 bore pistol.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway from them.
