KARACHI: A flying coach (PE-0520) of Muslim Coach route was looted on National Highway near Quaidabad on Friday afternoon by an armed gang; leaving the passengers crying and consoling each other.
The coach was coming from Gulshan-e-Hadeed, the Pakistan Steel Township to the main city.
Some of the passengers onboard later reported that when it stopped at main Quaidabad market at around 1330 hours, four men in their twenties boarded the bus. After crossing the main Quaidabad area, their leader brandishing a pistol shouted at the passengers not to move and remain silent.
He asked his gang men to snatch mobile sets and money etc. and ordered the driver to continue driving the vehicle. After completing their operation with full satisfaction and confidence on their faces, they stepped down at the next end of Malir River bridge, leaving vehicle occupants deprived. (APP)
