ISLAMABAD: The Capital Police have arrested 12 outlaws and eight drunkards with 14 bottles of wine, pistols, guns and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

On a tip off, Ramna police arrested Nadeem Yousuf from sector G-11/12 and recovered ten wine bottles from his possession. Bhara Kau police arrested Raja Ashfaq from Kalma Chowk in possession of 30 bore pistol and five rounds.

Bhara Kau police also arrested three persons identified as Hussain, Khizer Abbass, Sabir Hussain Shah and recovered a 30 bore pistol, one pistol,12 bore gun and 10 cartridges from their possession.

Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad Police arrested two thieves Iftikhar, Asif and recovered stolen items from their possession.

On a tip off, Shalimar police team raided at Travas guest house Sumbal Road in sector F-10/3 after getting search warrant and completing legal formalities and nabbed eight drunkards.

They were identified as Tariq s/o M. Ali, Taimoor Ali s/o Javed Khan, Umair Khan s/o Sarfaraz Khan, Abid Ali s/o Mushtaq Ali, Salman s/o Shaukat Ali, Rafi s/o Ahmed Zabih, Mohsin Ali s/o Zahid Hussain, Abdul Saboor s/o Abdul Ghafoor.

Police also recovered three wine bottles during the raid.

The same police team of Shalimar police station arrested five other persons including two women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities during raid at `Blue Line' hotel in F-10 Markaz after getting search warrant.

The nabbed persons were identified Akram,Riaz, Mehtab Akhtar d/o Ghulam Haider, Adil Khan, Shaheen d/o Zulfiqar while one wine bottle was also recovered during this raid. (APP)
