Lyari operation may conclude tomorrow: IG Sindh

KARACHI: Inspector General (IG) Sindh police Mushtaq Shah said on Thursday that Lyari operation is in progress and it is likely to end by tomrrow (Friday), Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference at Central Police Office in Karachi, IG Sindh told the media that Lyari operation is in its final stages and it is likely that the forces will be able to achieve targets by tomorrow that will put an end to the on-going battle.

He told that five policemen were martyred during the operation.

Answering a question, IG Sindh told said that Rangers are with them and could be called any time.

He told that the Taliban along with other criminals are involved in Lyari clashes.
