PESHAWAR: The investigation report pertaining to the Bannu jailbreak has been completed and sent to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Hoti.

According to sources, the 22 page report consists of three parts and reveals negligence on part of at least 150 officials. These officials include Commissioner Bannu, DIG Bannu, DPO Bannu and Assistant Political Agent Mir Ali.

Part one of the report highlights the route and methods used by the attackers. Part two mentions the involvement of government officials while part three outlines future measure which should be taken to enhance safety and security at jails.

The report is expected to be presented before the provincial cabinet in the next few days.
