LONDON: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira on Wednesday said Pakistan People's Party has serious reservations over the Supreme Court's verdict against Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani in contempt case, Geo News reported.
Talking exclusively to Geo News, Kaira, who is accompanying the Prime Minister in his London visit, said 'Justice Khosa acted out of prejudice and had let his personal opinion become part of his statement against the Prime Minister'.
Terming the detailed verdict against the Prime Minister as verbose, he said it had nothing new in the 77-page long judgment.
"The ruling has many kinds of ambiguities and flaws," he claimed, adding, however, the government intended to go for an appeal against the judgment.
He said the Prime Minister's visit to the UK at a critical juncture like this proved the closeness and harmony that the two countries shared in their relations.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said the ongoing UK visit of the Prime Minister held significant importance for Pakistan.
