Peshawar: IED targets security convoy in Bazaid Khel

PESHAWAR: An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in Bazaid Khel area of Peshawar targeting a security convoy Thursday, Geo News reported.

SP Rural Shafiullah said that an IED exploded when the convoy was passing through the area. However, no casualty was reported due to blast.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the explosion while gun shots can still be heard from the scene.
