KARACHI: After conducting hectic raids across the city, the police arrested three accused in the National College principal assault case along with arresting several students accused of cheating during the intermediate exams.
Gulshan-e-Iqbal SP, Abdul Salam Sheikh said that Rizwan Khan, resident of Landhi, Adil Tanvir of Quaidabad and Izhar Naeem were included among those arrested. The three accused were named in the FIR, while further investigations continue.
On Wednesday, members of student organisatons had assaulted the National College principal for not allowing them to cheat during the intermediate exam.
College Principal, Professor Wasim Adil had registered an FIR 25 students in New Town police station, in which, he had named 10 students.
