Former TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid killed in drone attack in Afghanistan

JALALABAD: Shahidullah Shahid, the former spokesman of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was killed in a drone strike in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, Afghan media said on Thursday.

In 2014, the TTP sacked Shahid after his defection to IS.

Shahid, along with 49 other IS militants were killed in the drone attack a few days ago.

In January 2015, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi declared Shahid and others as proclaimed offenders in the Karachi airport attack case.
