Blast at water management agency office injures 3 in Pakpattan

PAKPATTAN: At least three people were injured in an explosion at the water management agency’s office here in the early hours of Saturday.

Initial reports suggest that record related to agriculture department has been burnt in a blaze following the explosion.

All three injured people have been taken into custody over suspicions of a deliberate attempt to burn the agricultural record, police officials told Geo News.

According to the agriculture department, a wall of the office building collapsed in the blast and all official documents were gutted in the blaze.

They said the police reached at the scene in time to arrest the three wounded employees of the water management agency.
